We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Director, Operational Support at Lovelace Medical Group.

 

POSITION SUMMARY 

 

The Director, Operational Support oversees key functions within the organization, including project management, facilities, and asset management. Responsibilities include leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, managing capital budgets, and optimizing asset performance. The position also handles lease negotiations, evaluates acquisition opportunities, and oversees construction and tenant improvement projects. Additionally, the role focuses on driving operational efficiency, standardizing processes across the portfolio, and continuously improving business processes to enhance overall performance. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and financial management are essential for success in this position. 


Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, adherence to schedules and budgets, and successful delivery.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the daily operations of facilities, ensuring efficiency, compliance with safety and quality standards, and the optimization of maintenance strategies to support facility performance.
  • Capital Management: Manage capital expenditure budgets and investments, collaborating with finance to prioritize and allocate resources effectively while tracking performance and addressing any concerns.
  • Asset Management: Oversee and optimize the performance of facility assets, developing strategies to maximize value and ensure long-term operational efficiency.
  • Lease Negotiations: Lead lease negotiations and maintain strong relationships with landlords and external professionals, ensuring favorable terms, compliance with organizational objectives, and alignment with financial goals.
  • Acquisitions: Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, conducting thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to support strategic decision-making.
  • Construction Management: Manage the construction or renovation of facilities, ensuring quality, compliance with timelines, budgets, and building codes, and addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Tenant Improvements and Buildouts: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Tenant Improvement projects and buildouts, ensuring alignment with tenant requirements and business objectives while maintaining project quality, scope, and timelines.
  • Operational Optimization: Drive operational efficiency by analyzing resource utilization, implementing cost-reduction strategies, and leveraging data analytics to enhance performance across all functions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve business processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that drive operational excellence and measurable outcomes.
  • Operation Support: Supporting and leading practice management when needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+  years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Master’s Degree in related field, preferred
