Responsibilities
- Perform quality echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support quality patient care.
- Perform quality cardiac testing procedures such as Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring Scanning, and Pacemaker checks to support quality diagnosis & treatment of patients.
- Contribute to the professional development of team members and provide monitoring and mentoring of students to ensure proper training in assisting patients, families, and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and to offer reassurance.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- 2 year degree in related field
- May substitute degree for graduation from an accredited school of Echocardiography Technology.
- CPR/BLS Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Prior experience with cardiology procedures
- One-year experience in Echocardiography in a comparable healthcare setting.
