As the chief nursing officer at Lovelace Women’s Hospital (LWH), I am proud of our ongoing commitment to nursing excellence during such a difficult time for our nation and especially for our nurses. We know the demands put on you during a pandemic to provide the highest quality of care to our community.
By using evidence-based practice (EBP), Lovelace Women’s Hospital ensures our patients receive the best possible care, but also that we remain on the cutting edge of advancements in nursing and medicine. Our nurses make an incredible contribution to the patient experience as advocates, educators and collaborators.
As we build upon our achievements at LWH, we have started a nurse residency program which emulates the Institute of Medicines (IOM) recommendation for advancing nurses. This advancement in knowledge-based care provides excellence in leadership and innovation in healthcare delivery. We want to recruit and retain the highest quality nursing professionals and create a pathway for their development and advancement. As a result of this investment, our nurses are motivated and inspired to advance their profession through national certifications and professional educational endeavors.
Our nursing team is a huge contributor to the success at Lovelace Women’s Hospital.
We welcome new talent and innovative thinking at our hospital. Come join some of the best at Lovelace Women’s Hospital!
